Senior executive with deep experience in leadership and government systems
Karen Doran is the Acting Director General (Chief Projects Officer) of Major Projects Canberra.
Karen commenced her career in the private sector but has worked in, or as a consultant to, the Public Service since 1993.
She has attended two ANZSOG programs – the Executive Fellows Program 2005 and the China Reciprocal Program 2015 and acknowledges the benefit of exposure to ANZSOG programs for public sector leaders.
She has worked across a variety of Directorates in the ACT Government, including in Treasury, Land/Economic Development, Health and Justice and Community Safety.
