Renee Henry is a Principal Regulatory Officer in the Water Supply Regulation Team at the Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water in Queensland. Growing up in Cairns with neighbouring indigenous communities, Renee has developed an understanding and awareness of indigenous cultures. Her studies and career path have led her to specialise in water where her experience in operating water treatment plants has culminated in her current role in regulating water services within Queensland. Renee has been involved in establishing and organising the Queensland Indigenous Councils Water Operators Network (QICWON) to address the challenges presented.
