Senior executive with deep experience in leadership and government systems
John was appointed to a 5-year term as the Health Care Complaints Commissioner in July 2024.
John has held senior leadership and regulatory roles across the NSW Government including The Cabinet Office, The former Department of Community Services, and most recently at the Department of Customer Service.
He has over 20 years experience in leadership in regulatory policy and practice, with achievements in reforming and implementing regulatory laws, frameworks, schemes and operations.
In 2022, John was awarded the Public Service Medal for outstanding public service to building regulation in New South Wales.
