Senior executive with deep experience in leadership and government systems
Jenness has been the ERA’s Chief Executive Officer since November 2017. Under her leadership, the ERA has developed a reputation as an effective and highly professional regulator. This has contributed to the expansion of the ERA’s regulatory functions and rapid growth of the organisation from just 60 to over 100 staff.
Jenness has significant experience in State and Commonwealth governments and the resources sector, leading economic policy development, commercial negotiations and large scale project development for Western Australia. She has an honours degree in economics and is an AICD company directors course graduate. Jenness is currently the president of Institute of Public Administration Australia WA branch.
