Senior executive with deep experience in leadership and government systems
Jamie Twidale is a seasoned executive leader with extensive experience across the state and federal government, and the not-for-profit sector. His career began in the Australian Defence Force, where he developed a strong foundation in leadership. He later transitioned into emergency management and regulatory roles, including key positions with the State Emergency Service (Vic & Qld), Environment Protection Authority (Vic) and the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. Jamie has also served as Chief Executive Officer and Company Secretary in the not-for-profit sector.
He holds a Master of Business Administration, a Postgraduate Certificate in Security and Terrorism Studies, and a Bachelor of Social Science. Jamie is a graduate of the Australian War College’s Australian Command and Staff Course and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
In his current role as a Senior Director at the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, Jamie leads the Inspectorate, overseeing responsive and preventative regulatory operations across Australia to safeguard the quality and safety of aged care services nationwide.
