NRCoP 2026
Member Engagement and Capability Needs Project

Welcome to the NRCoP 2026 Member Engagement and Capability Needs Project.
NRCoP is undertaking the most comprehensive member engagement and capability needs project we have ever conducted. The findings will directly shape our program of work, member services and professional development offerings for 2027, 2028 and 2029.
About the project
We are seeking to understand what the regulatory community needs from NRCoP — and from each other — over the next three years.
Online member survey (open now — closes Friday 31 July 2026)
The survey takes 12–15 minutes and is open to all NRCoP corporate members, chapter members and newsletter subscribers. It covers capability priorities, the value of current NRCoP offerings, preferred formats and activities, and emerging topics in regulatory practice — including AI and digital regulation, risk-based regulation, regulatory stewardship, workforce capability, collaboration and the needs of smaller regulators.

Survey Results
How findings will be used
All findings will be integrated into a report presented at the NRCoP Strategic Planning Workshop. The workshop will use the findings to shape NRCoP's 2027–2029 program of work and member engagement strategy. A summary of findings will be shared with all members and participants after the NRCoP Board has considered the final report later this year.
