ANZSOG and Monash University invite you to this public lecture exploring how universities and governments can strengthen collaboration through policy-engaged research and knowledge networks.
Delivered by Dr Andrew Mycock, ANZSOG Academic Fellow, the lecture will draw on experience from the United Kingdom to examine how university policy engagement has developed over time and how collaborative knowledge-exchange approaches support stronger relationships between researchers and policymakers. The session will also consider what lessons may be relevant for Australia and identify opportunities for strengthening partnerships across universities, governments and independent research organisations.
The lecture will be followed by discussion and a 30-minute networking tea for in-person participants.
This event forms part of the ANZSOG Academic Fellows program, which brings leading scholars into dialogue with public sector practitioners to strengthen connections between research and policy practice.
