Join the South Australian Chapter of the National Regulators Community of Practice (NRCoP) for an enlightening session on regulatory reform trends in Australia and around the world.

Hear from Kelly Wood, Assistant Secretary at the Australian Government Department of Finance, on how regulators at all levels of government can learn from global shifts in regulatory reform and become leaders in well-designed regulation.

Kelly will unpack all you need to know about:

  • simplifying regulation

  • unlocking productivity growth

  • balancing risks with efficiency, growth and dynamism

  • measuring regulatory outcomes and system maturity

Gain insights into:

  • the latest regulatory reform trends in Australia and internationally

  • what the key outcomes from the April 2026 OECD regulatory meetings mean for regulators in Australia

  • the path forward for the Whole-of-Government Regulatory Reform Agenda since the 2026-27 Federal Budget

Kelly will be joined by Adam Wilson, CEO of the Essential Services Commission of South Australia, for a Q&A and an interactive workshop.
