Robin Ryde is a former Chief Executive of the UK National School of Government, Executive Team member with 4ps Management Consultancy, former Director with the UK Cabinet Office and the National Audit Office. He is currently the Co-Director of ANZSOG’s leadership development programme the Executive Fellows Program (EFP), Director of the UK’s Top Management Programme (TMP) for senior leaders in Higher Education and Director of PwC’s partner development programme in the UK and EMEA.

Robin works in a development and consulting capacity supporting clients in the private and public sector. Robin’s particular areas of expertise are leadership, strategy and Organisation Development. Robin spends much of his time working with senior teams on some of their thorniest issues.

Robin has worked with a variety of UK public sector clients ranging from health to defence, and from the environment to taxation. He has worked with overseas public sector institutions in countries that include the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Australia, Chile and Singapore.

Robin’s recent private sector clients have included the supermarket chain Sainsburys, Barclays Investment Bank, Ogilvy, Oxford University Press, Fitch Ratings and the drinks company Edrington. His not-for-profit clients include Greenpeace and the Wellcome Foundation.

Robin is a qualified accountant and has a Masters degree in Social Research Methodology. He is the author of four business books namely Thought Leadership (Palgrave Macmillan, 2007), Custom-Built Leadership (Palgrave Macmillan, 2008), Never Mind The Bosses (Wiley & Sons, 2012) and Creating Authentic Organizations (Kogan Page, 2014). He has written for the Guardian newspaper, The International Journal of Leadership in Public service, and other publications.

Robin is based in London, but also works in the US, Australia, Latin America, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Robin is a Visiting Fellow with Ashridge Business School, and Head of Leadership with the Oxford Group.
