Senior executive with deep experience in leadership and government systems
Kerri Melkersson is the Executive Director of Occupational Health and Hygiene for Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ), the regulator responsible for safety and health in Queensland’s mining, quarrying, explosives and petroleum and gas industries. With over 16 years’ experience in occupational and latent onset injury and illness, Kerri leads the team responsible for reforms in health surveillance across the sectors, following the re-identification of coal workers’ pneumoconiosis (black lung) in 2015.
