NRCoP and ANZSOG present: Better ways to assess regulatory impact: RegValue 1.0

Join us in Canberra for this in-person national launch of an innovative tool for policy makers, regulators and regulatory stakeholders.

Assessing how regulation is working in practice is challenging. Regulatory policy makers and regulators sometimes struggle to articulate the public value of the regulatory systems that they steward, while lacking adequate data to resolve claims that ‘regulatory burdens’ or ‘red tape’ are unfair.

This panel discussion launches a new regulatory assessment tool, RegValue 1.0., co-developed by the ACT Better Regulation Taskforce and the ANU School of Regulation and Global Governance (RegNet). Designed for a wide range of stakeholders, including regulators, it aims to be a cost-effective diagnostic tool that supports continuous improvement of our regulatory systems.
