Creating and implementing effective policy requires a strategic understanding of how the elements of the policy cycle fit together — from agenda setting and design through to implementation and evaluation.
Delivering Strategic Policy equips policy professionals and leaders with practical skills and tools to design and deliver policy confidently and effectively in complex political and organisational environments.
Participants explore the importance of agenda setting, stakeholder engagement and cross-agency execution, building the capability needed to design for impact and manage complex implementation.
By the end of the program, participants are better prepared to lead across the policy implementation cycle, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and support delivery that creates public value.

Salli Cohen brings more than 30 years’ experience across government, Aboriginal Community Controlled organisations, for-purpose entities, and the private sector, including her own policy practice, The Policy Room.
Salli is a non-executive director of Saltbush Social Enterprises, the Chair of the NT ANZSOG Alumni Chapter, a member of the NT Chapter of the National Regulators Community of Practice (NRCoP) and the Institute of Public Administration NT (IPAA NT) as well as being the Lead Faculty for ANZSOG’s Delivering Strategic Policy program.
