Florent is a well-seasoned evaluator who has led the evaluation work in the NSW Better Regulation Division in recent years. Before working for the NSW Government, Florent was an external evaluator for 10 years, first at Ernst&Young Paris office before moving to Australia in 2011. In his role in the Better Regulation Division, Florent conducted various evaluations of large IT projects and regulatory reforms. He also launched an Evaluation Community of Practice, which successfully contributed to develop outcome framing and evaluative thinking for a range of regulatory activities.

Florent holds a double master degree in business administration and public management from the ESSEC Business school in Paris and Mannheim university in Germany. Florent currently chairs the NSW committee of the Australian Evaluation Society.
