James Button is a journalist, speechwriter, editor and policy communications advisor based in Melbourne. He has worked for The Age, for the Grattan Institute, and as a speechwriter for Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. He has won three Walkley awards for feature writing and written two books, Speechless: A Year in my Father’s Business and Comeback: The Fall and Rise of Geelong.
