Ben Hubbard has had an extensive career at the most senior levels of government, having formerly been Chief of Staff to Australia’s twenty seventh Prime Minister, the Honourable Julia Gillard and CEO of the Victorian Bushfire Reconstruction and Recovery Authority. He was also Chief of Staff to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Education and Principal Adviser to the Victorian Premier. Ben is the National President of Y Australia and a Director of the Suburban Rail Loop Authority. He is a Victorian Councillor of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Institute (FAICD), a Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne, and holds graduate and postgraduate qualifications in Economics, Public Policy and Public Administration. Ben is also an independent consultant, specialising in public affairs, public policy, public administration, governance and risk.
