Azad Singh Bali is an Associate Professor of Public Policy at the University of Melbourne. Bali’s teaching and research interests include comparative public policy, policy capacity, and social security reform. Some of this research has been published in Policy Sciences, International Review of Administrative Sciences, Policy & Society among others.

Bali frequently delivers training programs and workshops on policy capacity for public servants and practitioners, and has delivered these for government agencies in Australia, Brazil, India, Indonesia,  Italy, Spain, Singapore, Qatar.

Prior to the University of Melbourne, Bali held faculty appointments at Australian National University and Murdoch University.
