Overview

We’re all communicating constantly with our words, body language and actions. And yet, communicating in a way that cuts through the noise and drives action takes skill and practice.

In fact, in striving to be professional, we often mask the individuality and authenticity that communicating for influence and impact requires. We can all work to develop a stronger language of leadership.

Led by Dr Zina O’Leary, this impactful communication course gets to the core of what’s important AND what’s holding you back. You’ll explore communication strategies, identify and tackle your fears and discover your authentic communication style.

What will you learn?

You will:

  • study best practice communication strategies
  • identify the blockers that are stopping you from reaching your full potential
  • learn to deliver messages in a way that persuades and influences audiences.

Who should attend?

This communicating for impact course is designed for executives, managers and professional staff within:

  • the public sector
  • local government
  • not-for-profit organisations.

It’s also suitable for executives, managers and professionals from other fields who want to boost their confidence, communicate with impact, and increase their influence.

Key People

You’ll learn from: Dr Zina O’Leary – communication and research expert, Senior Fellow at ANZSOG and adjunct Professor at the Joseph R. Biden Jr. School of Public Policy, University of Delaware.
