Directory update requestEliot Palmer is a regulatory specialist, facilitator and public sector leader who helps policy-makers and regulators to improve the design and delivery of the law.
Eliot has worked for two decades in state and local government regulatory settings. He has led diverse regulatory policy and practice reforms, drawing on significant experience in organisational transformation and change.
Eliot has developed major regulatory frameworks including the acclaimed Towards Best Practice Guide for regulators, guidance on licensing and regulatory evaluation, the Victorian Guide to Regulation, and multiple compliance policies and regulatory strategies.
In his roles he has developed reform programs, delivered health checks for Victorian regulators, and was central to generational reform and implementation of Victoria’s environmental laws.
Eliot holds an Executive Master of Public Administration and a Master in Sound Art.
Eliot is a member of ANZSOG’s Alumni Advisory Council and an Alumni Ambassador.
