Policy specialist with expertise in public sector strategy and reform
Kerin Montgomerie is Director Clinical Regulation, Public Health Division and leads the Private Health Facilities and Ambulances, Drugs of Dependence Unit and Clinical Regulation Policy teams. In her previous role as Manager of the Drugs of Dependence Unit (DDU) she was responsible for leading the development and implementation of South Australia’s Real-Time Prescription Monitoring system, ScriptCheckSA.
Kerin is a registered pharmacist with experience in community, hospital, education and regulatory roles. She holds degrees in Science, Environmental Health, Pharmacy, Management and Environmental Law and has been a public health regulator for over 15 years having worked in local government, for the Environment Protection Authority and most recently at SA Health.
