Christina Bolger

    Senior executive with deep experience in leadership and government systems

    Christina Bolger has extensive experience in Commonwealth and ACT Government public services. This includes Senior Executive Service (SES) positions, with the Aged Care Quality Safety Commission, and Deputy CEO of the Australian Skills Quality Agency (ASQA). Her areas of interest are in policy, regulation and regulation reform and service delivery, in a range of areas including health, aged care, and work health and safety.

    She is passionate about whole of system-thinking and recognising connections that enable opportunities for greater cohesion and effectiveness across the APS and within organisational context. She has also had a career interest in what makes a learning organisation and the role of leaders in creating a culture of learning to be able to respond to new challenges in a changing environment.

    Christina is an alumnus of the ANZSOG Executive Master’s in Public Administration, and has undertaken the ANZSOG Deputy Secretaries Program. She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) (Cumberland College of Health Sciences), and Bachelor of Arts (ANU).

    Christina Bolger graduated from Executive Master Public Administration and Deputies Leadership Program in 2010 and 2021 respectively. She is a member of ANZSOG’s Advisory Council.  To find out more about the Alumni Advisory Council, click here.
