Senior executive with deep experience in leadership and government systems
Prior to moving to NSW to take up his current role, Simon Cohen was the Deputy Secretary, Regulation and Director, Consumer Affairs at the then Victorian Department of Justice and Regulation and the Chair of the NRCoP national committee. He was the national Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman from 2010 to 2015. Simon has worked in senior dispute resolution and regulation roles for more than a decade and has 20 plus years' experience in complaints investigation and dispute resolution. Previous roles include Victorian Public Transport Ombudsman, Assistant Ombudsman (Police) and lawyer at the NSW Ombudsman.
