Senior executive with deep experience in leadership and government systems
Rose Webb spent her career working in Australian and international regulators. Now semi-retired, she is contributing to regulation related projects. She was the Deputy Secretary Better Regulation Division and Commissioner for NSW Fair Trading between November 2017 and December 2021 and inaugural sponsor of the NSW Chapter of NRCoP. She previously worked as Senior Executive Director and then Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong’s Competition Commission from 2014 to 2017. Between 2001 and 2008, and again between 2011 and 2014, Rose worked for the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). Rose also worked in regulatory positions with the Australian Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
