Directory update requestRay is an Aboriginal (Ngiyampaa/Wongaibon) social epidemiologist with over two decades of experience in health services research, large scale data analysis for public health policy development and evaluation. In conjunction with strong Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander governance, Ray leads Mayi Kuwayu, the National Study of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Wellbeing. Ray is also an Executive member of the Maiam nayri Wingara Indigenous Data Sovereignty Collective who developed the Indigenous Data Sovereignty Principles for Australia. Ray is also a key member of the Global Indigenous Data Alliance (GIDA).
