I have worked for the NSW Government in the social services all my 20 year career, with the majority of my focus on family preservation (child protection) and permanency (Out of Home Care). I also have experience in Contract Management for large state-wide providers and in social housing.

My passion is for supporting and developing staff through simplifying complex systems and giving clear guidance on direction. I love the concept of ‘define the win’ and helping unite staff on a clear common goal. While I am super passionate about supporting vulnerable people and communities, I recognise that I best do this by developing my staff. I strongly identify with the principle that staff need to be my priority to look after because if I support my staff well, they can support our clients well.

I look forward to the next challenges in my career and studying through ANZSOG has certainly helped challenge and guide me in my development.
