Some Observations and Theory about the Behaviour of Politicians and Officials
15 September 2011
● ResearchPoliticians and officials behave in different ways. If the differences are not understood they may cause confusion and undermine morale. A simple model is developed to explain differences in behaviour by reference to the rules that control achieving and holding office as a politician or an official. This model may be helpful for teaching
aspiring officials and may provide a basis for empirical research.
