Queen’s Birthday Honours congratulations

ANZSOG and the Alumni Program would like to congratulate the seven alumni who received an honour in the 2016 Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

Elizabeth Kelly PSM, Judy Rose PSM, Robyn Foster PSM, Peter Harper PSM and Philippa Lynch PSM were all awarded a Public Service Medal.

Elizabeth (CRP 2015 and EFP 2008) is Deputy Secretary, Governance at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and was awarded a PSM for outstanding public service to Commonwealth administration in a leadership role.

Judy (TSL 2012) is Assistant Regional Director at the Victorian Department of Education and Training and was awarded a PSM for outstanding public service through the improvement of educational outcomes for students in the North Eastern region of Victoria, particularly to those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Robyn (EMPA 2008) is Director of Shared Services in the NSW Police Force and was awarded a PSM for outstanding public service to the advancement of workforce planning, industrial relations, organisational design and change management for NSW Police.

Peter (EFP 2005) was with the Australian Bureau of Statistics for almost 30 years and was awarded a PSM for outstanding public service through contributions to Australian and international statistics.

Philippa (EFP 2006) is First Assistant Secretary, Government Division at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and was awarded a PSM for outstanding public service through the delivery of whole-of-government legal policy and governance advice.

Detective Superintendent Michael Willing APM (EMPA 14) from the NSW Police Force and Assistant Commissioner Therese Walsh APM (TSL 15) from Victoria Police were each awarded an Australian Police Medal for their work.
