Overview
Licensing and registration are the bedrock of many regulatory regimes. Effective design and execution of these permissions are critical to risk management and enforcement. At the same time, regulators face political and industry pressure to remove red tape by reducing barriers to entry, and speeding up approvals.
Practitioners must navigate these pressures, follow administrative law principles, meet the often highly specific nature of their authorising legislation, and set controls that will enable compliance monitoring and enforcement.
Join this panel discussion to explore the tensions, challenges and experiences of managing and reforming licensing approaches and teams, through the lens of new Victorian guidance and recent transformation experiences.
Join us in person! We warmly welcome regulatory professionals from all levels of government and experience to join us.
***Participation in NRCoP activities is for the purpose of connecting and building the professionalism of practising regulators and not for undertaking any form of commercial activity
