The Foundations of Public Leadership (FPL) program builds essential leadership capability for public sector middle and emerging managers. Through a dynamic blend of in-person and online learning, and enriched with First Nations and Māori perspectives, FPL equips participants with practical tools to lead with confidence. This program is ideal for those ready to step into broader responsibilities and create impact in complex government environments.

This information session will provide an overview of the Foundations of Public Leadership (FPL) program and what participants can expect from the 2026 offering. You’ll hear about the program’s blended learning model, key topics, First Nations and Māori perspectives, and the leadership capabilities you’ll develop throughout the three-week experience.
