Directory update requestProfessor Daryle Rigney, is the Director of University of Technology Sydney. Previously, he was the Dean of Indigenous Strategy and Engagement, Flinders University. Daryle is a citizen of the Ngarrindjeri Nation of the Lower River Murray, Coorong, Lakes and southern Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia.
For many years he has worked on nation-building with Ngarrindjeri leaders, the Ngarrindjeri Regional Authority and Australian private and public sector entities.
Daryle’s interests include Indigenous governance and nation building, cultural heritage management, natural resource management and local, national and global Indigenous engagement, collaboration and alliance. In 2013 Daryle was acknowledged as NAIDOC South Australian Aboriginal person of the year.
