A Dean’s List graduate from Deakin University and a postgraduate alumnus of Melbourne University, Achini combines academic excellence with practical expertise gained through senior leadership roles across multiple government agencies.

Having completed the competitive VPS Graduate Scheme, Achini has developed strong capabilities in program and project management, stakeholder engagement, change management, and industrial relations. Known for a collaborative leadership style, Achini excels in building high-performing teams, driving innovation, and fostering inclusive workplaces. Their expertise spans governance frameworks, school improvement strategies, human resources, reporting, strategic planning, and strategic decision-making.

In addition to a successful public sector career, Achini is passionate about education and lifelong learning and has served as a guest lecturer at Deakin University and Swinburne University. Committed to community service, Achini has volunteered over 15 years on school councils and boards, providing governance and strategic oversight to enhance educational outcomes.
