Karise brings a wealth of insight to her role at ANZSOG, shaped from over 20 years in academic research and leadership, including several years working at the most senior levels of academia as Provost.
She is also an award-winning researcher, educator, speaker, and strategic advisor to leaders in government, public and private sectors, and a prolific author. Her book, Leadership and Small Business: The Power of Stories, was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2018.
Karise is also the founder of Illuminaire Press, a leadership publication series distributed globally through Barnes & Noble in the US and WH Smith in the UK. She publishes thought leadership monthly via Leadership Letters on Substack, which is read by hundreds of leaders in nearly 40 countries across the world.
Some of her most recent work includes serving on the board of the Fellowship Leadership Program for the Centre of Democracy and Peace Building, as well as developing the leadership competency framework for the Northern Ireland Assembly Commission, and ongoing work with Advance HE and the Institute of Directors. She is also a Fellow of the Dubai School of Government and serves on a number of charitable and international boards.
Karise lives on the North Coast of Ireland with her husband and four children joining her on her adventure and love of life.
