Overview
The ANZSOG Academic Fellows Program aims to strengthen academic engagement and enhance public sector impact across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. It offers two streams: Resident Academic Fellows, for scholars from ANZSOG partner universities, and Visiting Academic Fellows, open to academics worldwide. The program identifies and invites leading scholars in our partner universities to collaborate as part of ANZSOG faculty, engage in research findings with public sector professionals to build research impact and shared agendas on new knowledge needs.
Research Focus
The 2025 Academic Fellows have begun their work with ANZSOG and this Issues Paper presents a brief preview of the work they will develop and share, and why it matters for public governance. The paper reflects a clear alignment between ANZSOG’s strategic priorities and the Fellows’ applied research agendas. The topics range from national and transnational integrity systems to specialised knowledge for policy capability and employment rights for international public sector employees. We invite you to read this paper to learn more about their work and engage with the Fellows to help translate research into impact.
