Christy is the Director of Governance and Assurance at the Abuse in Care Royal Commission, Aotearoa’s largest and most complex royal commission in its history. She has held a variety of leadership and delivery roles in public and private sector and is passionate about pragmatic, fit-for-purpose programme and change management and governance practices that enable good decision-making.

Christy believes in strongly supporting new talent and professional communities to develop the next generation of experts and stars. She was part of the small team who both established the public sector change community of practice and redeveloped the New Zealand Treasury’s Investor Confidence Rating assessment for organisational change management, and followed this up as an assessor for several years. Christy has presented at the New Zealand PMI Conference and was selected to present at the 2020 global Association of Change Management conference (sadly, Covid put the brakes on this).

Christy holds a Bachelor of Arts (English Literature and Political Science) from Victoria University of Wellington and was valedictorian of ANZSOG’s 2021 EMPA cohort.
