Sophie is the Deputy Chief Executive Strategy and Corporate and Chief Operating Officer at Crown Law. In these roles she is responsible for ensuring Crown Law delivers on its strategy to build a better Aotearoa through responsible, lawful government.

Sophie takes a pragmatic approach to delivery, and brings deep experience in leading strategy and capability development, as well as establishing good governance. Graduating from Otago University with a Masters in International Studies focused on international conflict management, Sophie then spent 20 years in a variety of policy and leadership roles in the education, and defence and security sectors.

She joined Crown Law in April 2019 and took up the role of DCE in February 2020.
