NRCoP present: The Politically Astute Regulator

Join the Tasmanian Department of Health and the Commonwealth Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry for a discussion on what it means and takes to regulate in politically complex environments, on socially and ethically contested matters. Examples and lessons will be drawn from the regulation of voluntary assisted dying and livestock exports, respectively.

The session will include a panel discussion Q&A facilitated by Dr. Christopher Walker (Executive Director, ANZSOG Executive Master of Public Administration). Following the discussion, in-person attendees are invited to connect with the NRCoP TAS Chapter members and fellow regulators over a light afternoon tea.
