Angela is a dynamic Commonwealth Public Service executive with extensive experience in leading high-performing teams, shaping policy to achieve government priorities, and collaborating to build and manage high-level complex relationships. Angela has been leading the Regulatory Technology and Innovation Branch in the Department of Finance since June 2023, focusing on modernising regulation through digital, innovation and stewardship to ensure regulation is fit-for-purpose for Australia. Angela prides herself on her ability to foster productive working relationships while leading teams to navigate complex, challenging environments to deliver results. Angela’s experience in the central agencies, private enterprise and as a policy advisor has enabled her to harness innovative thinking, and outcome focused policy development to drive cross-government regulatory reform that streamline and modernise Australia’s regulatory environment.
