Diane is currently Project Manager for an interesting project with the Dept of Justice Harm Prevention and Regulation Division. The project is looking into the risk profile of compliance officers undertaking regulatory activities in the field (you’ll hear more about this work in the presentation).

She holds post graduate qualifications in work health and safety, public administration and management. Prior to undertaking this project, Di has worker over 20 years with Queensland’s Work Health and Safety regulator undertaking management, strategy development, WHS advisory and inspectorate roles. Di has experience working with both public and private sector organisations to implement strategies to improve their workplace health and safety, health and wellbeing, injury management and workers’ compensation performance. Diane has expertise in the areas of WHS auditing, WHS management systems compliance, change management, and psychosocial hazards such as bullying, harassment, violence, work-related stress, and fatigue.

Diane has also worked extensively in the areas of safety leadership, culture and capability developing guidance to motivate senior business leaders to integrate safety, health and wellbeing into their organisation’s culture.
