Susy has over 25 years experience working in the environment sector, having worked for NSW Government environment agencies including the EPA in a diversity of policy and operational/regulatory roles before joining LGNSW in 2013.  At LGNSW Susy has responsibility for a team that advocates on environmental issues relevant to local government including biosecurity, biodiversity, natural resource management, waste and recycling, climate & sustainability, coastal issues and asbestos management.  Susy’s team also manages grant programs for councils, with current programs focused on urban greening and flying-fox habitat restoration.
