Overview

Join the National Regulators Community of Practice and the Australia and New Zealand School of Government for an insightful exploration of the role of Parliament and Parliamentary committees in regulation.

Participants will have the opportunity to observe a live parliamentary session, followed by a panel discussion with distinguished experts on Parliament’s role in shaping regulation. The event will conclude with a special session featuring members of Parliament, who will provide insights into the workings of the Regulation Committee and its responsibilities in conducting inquiries and reporting.

Following the formal part of the event, social networking drinks will be held nearby at The Library Bar. Please ensure you book into the social drinks when you register for the main event as final number are required by the venue.


If you can’t attend in-person, we will be live streaming the formal part of this event.

  • In-person Location: NSW Parliament, 6 Macquarie Street, Sydney NSW 2000
  • For those attending in-person, networking social drinks will follow the main event at NSW Parliament at The Library Bar.

** Please note, attendees will be pre-registered with NSW Parliament Security. You will need to check in upon arrival before proceeding directly to the Jubilee Room for the event.
