Directory update requestMeredith Padgett is responsible for leading whole of government workforce capability and transformation programs for the Australian Public Service Commission. She leads the APS Academy Campus initiative, which builds regional data and digitally focussed employment pipelines into the Australian Public Service, without people having to leave their community. One Campus is here in Newcastle, at the University of Newcastle, and the other in Townsville at James Cook University. Meredith also leads the Career Pathways program, which offers Australians streamlined opportunities to find and apply for public service entry level positions across the country. Meredith also led implementation of the APS Data Profession when at the Australian Bureau of Statistics, another whole of government program focussed on building and maintaining data capability across the service. An advocate of flexible and geographically dispersed work, Meredith works remotely full time from Brisbane and leads a team of professionals who live and work across 4 states and territories.
