Andrew Wilson is the current General Manager, Compliance, Enforcement and Technical Services at Dairy Food Safety Victoria. Currently, he is responsible for all operational regulatory activities of the agency, which administers licencing and compliance for food safety across the Victorian dairy industry. Prior to joining DFSV, Andrew spent over 9 years in various roles with Safe Food Production Queensland, regulating primary production and food processing industries across multiple commodity sectors. During this time, he has developed a keen interest in alternative compliance methodologies and the influence of human behaviours on compliance culture within businesses to drive regulatory outcomes. His background is in production Agricultural Science and molecular microbiology, in both research and commercial roles.
