Directory update requestMarkus is the Manager of International and Regulatory Strategy for the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (CAANZ). He has been employed by the CAANZ since 2009, and has been in his current role since 2012. Markus has over 20 years’ experience working in regulatory policy and rulemaking roles for aviation regulators in New Zealand and the United States. Prior to joining the CAANZ, Markus held various roles with AeroVeritas Aviation Safety Consulting, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and a major US airline. Markus has a tertiary education in policy, international relations, and behavioural insights.
