With over two and a half decades experience, Paul is a seasoned leader renowned for spearheading transformative cultural reforms, particularly within the realm of regulatory compliance and enforcement. His leadership style is firmly rooted in values and centered around people, resulting in remarkable advancements in government outcomes for Victorian Departments, communities, and industry stakeholders. Paul has consistently harnessed the power of positive disruption to triumph over complex, politically sensitive, and protracted challenges, a testament to his unwavering commitment to progress.
Paul’s zeal for lifelong learning, talent development, governance, and the pursuit of service excellence is both evident and inspiring.
Until recently, serving as the Director of Compliance and Intelligence at the Game Management Authority (GMA), the premier game hunting regulator in Victoria, Paul has achieved remarkable success in elevating GMA’s influence and visibility across the Victorian community.
Until recently, Paul made significant contributions as an Independent Board Member at the Safety Governance Foundation.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Paul harbors a not-so-secret passion for sports. He channels his subject matter expertise to several not-for-profit sporting organizations, notably Triathlon Victoria, where he held the prestigious position of Chair of the Board for an impressive four-year tenure. Additionally, Paul served as an independent member of the North Melbourne Football Club Integrity Committee for five years and currently holds the esteemed role of the independent chair for Triathlon Australia’s Board Nominations Committee.
