Directory update requestKelly Gleeson has more than 26 years’ experience in law enforcement, investigations and government regulatory fields. Kelly has extensive experience in leadership across a range of challenging roles, including as a former Detective Sergeant in the Queensland Police Service, where she led a range of complex, high risk, multi-agency criminal investigations across a variety of jurisdictions. In 2012, she transitioned to an investigations management role in Queensland’s Department of Environment and Science, subsequently performing a range of different regulatory functions there before moving to The Office of the Health Ombudsman (OHO), as Executive Director Investigations in 2019. There, she was responsible for undertaking often complex systemic and individual practitioner health investigations and a statewide monitoring and compliance function. She recently moved to the DLGWV as Executive Director of Regulation and Operational Support – responsible for dam safety and water supply regulation, emergency response, strategic compliance and strategic policy and engagement.
