Directory update requestDr Nina Terrey, is an Associate Professor at University of Canberra, Institute for Governance and Policy Analysis and a distinguished Fellow of the Australian New Zealand School of Government. Her work focusses specifically on the application of co-design, design thinking and systemic innovation in areas of complex societal and policy challenges. Nina is an accomplished practitioner who leads excellence globally in the field of design, working with governments in ASEAN region and international organisations and foundations. Nina is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer in academic and professional settings, because of her wide application of co-design and systemic innovation.
Nina is also a published author in her field. Her most recent publication, Design for a Better Future: A guide to designing in complex systems was co-authored and edited with John Body, and is used as a text in academic programs.
Nina is a co-founder and global partner of ThinkPlace Global – the first design company to pioneer design thinking methods in the public sector. Nina holds a PhD in Managing By Design and currently is leading innovative practice in the area of co-designing for gender equality and sustainable impact.
