Find out more about ANZSOG’s Executive Fellows Program

Dan is KPMG’s Lead Partner for the Queensland Government, and one of the members of the leadership team of KPMG Australia’s Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare Practice.

Dan has almost 20 years’ experience working across the public and private sectors, having held executive roles across healthcare, social policy and infrastructure delivery agencies in Queensland and having undertaken consulting engagements for governments and private sector clients across Australia.

After completing the Executive Fellows Program (EFP) in 2011, Dan made a career transition to management consulting in mid-2013.

He was appointed as the Lead Partner for KPMG’s Health Practice in Queensland, before being promoted to lead KPMG’s government practice in Queensland. He has led significant public sector reform initiatives across economic policy and social policy agencies, including specific infrastructure delivery programs and healthcare system reform and improvement activities in almost all Australian jurisdictions.

Having worked as both a senior public servant and having led large-scale consulting engagements across the private sector, both central departments and line agencies of government and with not-for-profit organisations, he possesses unique insight into the tensions between crafting innovative policy outcomes and the implementation of those initiatives to achieve citizen and community expectations for users of government services.

Dan is an Alumni Ambassador pre-2022. To find out more about the Alumni Ambassador program, click here
